ಹಳೆಯ ಕರ್ಮವ ಹೊಸದು ಕೊಚ್ಚಿ ಪೌರುಷನದಿಯ |
ಬೆಳೆಯಿಪುದು ನವತೆಯಲಿ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

Though old are the mountains and earth, as the rain
