ತತ್ತ್ವಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ಕಾರ ಚಿತ್ತಶುದ್ಧಿಯಿನಹುದು |
ಚಿತ್ತಶೋಧನೆ ಮತಿಚಮತ್ಕಾರವಲ್ಲ ||
ಬಿತ್ತರದ ಲೋಕಪರಿಪಾಕದಿಂ, ಸತ್ಕರ್ಮ |
ಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂ ಶುದ್ಧತೆಯೊ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

tatvasaakShaatkaara cittashuddhiyinahudu |
cittashodhane maticamatkaaravalla ||
bittarada lOkaparipaakadim, satkarma |
saktiyim shuddhateyo - mankutimma ||

Realization of the truth is through purification of mind
But purification of mind is not the miracle of intellect.
Mellowing through world experiences, right conduct
And through that strength, purity - Mankutimma.
